Pushpa 2: The Rule Movie Review
On Day 39, the film earned an estimated Rs 2.35 crore, according to early estimates. With these numbers, the film wrapped up its 6th weekend with a total collection of Rs 5.5 crore.
These collections were a stark decline from its previous weeks at the box office. While the film’s Week 1 collection was a record-breaking Rs 725.8 crore at the domestic box office, Week 2 saw the numbers fall considerably to Rs 264.8 crore and Week 3 was reported to be around Rs 129.5 crore. The film’s fourth week brought with it a collection of Rs 69.65 crore and Week 5 estimated to be around Rs 23.25 crore.
With the collections earned in week 6, the film has crossed the Rs 1,220 crore mark in the domestic market. With the film steadily racing towards Rs 1,850 crore worldwide, it is gearing up to beat ‘Dangal‘ and take up the top spot on the list of the highest-earning Indian films of all time.
With no signs of slowing down, Pushpa 2 is poised to breach the Rs 2,000 crore mark worldwide in the coming weeks. The film has maintained its hold in the domestic market despite new releases like ‘Fateh‘, ‘Game Changer‘ and ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’, with consistent footfalls across multiplexes and single screens.
The upcoming release of the ‘Reloaded’ version is expected to further boost the box office numbers as it hits the big screens on Friday, January 17.
