Not only does the ‘One Piece’ season 2 have a potential release this year, but the new season comes with a newly added cast!
The live-action series, ‘One Piece’, will likely be released in the latter half of 2025. The newly added cast of season 2 is Sophia Anne Caruso as Baroque Works member Miss Goldenweek, Mark Penwill as Chess, and Anton David Jeftha as K.M.
According to Deadline, they will join the previously announced new cast – Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday, Joe Manganiello as Mr. 0, Katey Sagal as Dr. Kureha, Lera Abova as Miss All Sunday, Mark Harelik as Dr. Hiriluk, Sendhil Ramamurthy as Nefertari Cobra, Brendan Sean Murray as Brogy, Callum Kerr as Smoker, Camrus Johnson as Mr. 5, Clive Russell as Crocus, Daniel Lasker as Mr. 9, David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3, Jazzara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine, Julia Rehwald as Tashigi, Rob Colletti as Wapol, Ty Keogh as Dalton and Werner Coetser as Dorry.
The original cast returns to the series in the much-anticipated season 2 which includes Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji, Ilia Isorelys Paulino as Alvida, Jeff Ward as Buggy, and Michael Dorman as Gold Roger.
‘One Piece’ is a story about Monkey D. Luffy, who was inspired to be a pirate once in his childhood by listening to the tales of the “Red-Haired” Shanks. When he accidentally ate the Gum-Gum Devil Fruit, his entire life changed. He gained the power to stretch like rubber, but the twist was he could never swim again! After Luffy grows up, he still wishes to become the king of the pirates. So, Luffy sets out on his adventure – alone, in search of the legendary ‘One Piece’, which is said to be the greatest treasure in the world.
