Speculation surrounding Khushi Kapoor and Vedang Raina’s relationship continues to garner attention, fuelled by their frequent appearances together and playful social media exchanges. Recently, Khushi, who is gearing up for the release of her theatrical debut ‘Loveyapa’, opened up about her childhood fascination with grand weddings and how her plans differ from her sister Janhvi Kapoor’s.
In a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Khushi shared her desire for an elaborate wedding. She also revealed how her elder sister, Janhvi Kapoor, envisions a contrasting, simpler marital life in Tirupati. Khushi said, “She wants to live in Tirupati and wear mogras in her hair and do champi (massage) on her husband’s head and have her children eat on banana leaves.”
When asked about her own vision, Khushi described a lifestyle tied to Mumbai. The Archies actress revealed, “I’m a Bombay girl, and I would want my father, Boney Kapoor, to live in the same building as me after I’m married.” Her imagined future includes a family of her own, complete with a husband, two children, and a house filled with dogs.
Dismissing the idea of taking up her sister Janhvi’s champi plans, Khushi humorously remarked, “No, that is for her (Janhvi). Main kuch alag kar lungi (I’ll do something different).”
Khushi also revealed that her fascination with the idea of marriage began early. Recalling childhood memories, she admitted to playing wedding games with her friends, emphasising her enduring enthusiasm for the occasion.
On the work front, Khushi’s ‘Loveyapa’ is a romantic comedy helmed by Advait Chandan. She stars alongside Junaid Khan, son of Aamir Khan, in this film set for release on February 7.
