Veer Pahariya‘s debut film ‘Sky Force‘, starring Akshay Kumar, has hit theaters, and is receiving global acclaim. Pahariya’s performance has been widely praised. In a recent interview, he discussed his bond with his brother Shikhar’s girlfriend, Janhvi Kapoor, and addressed competition with Khushi Kapoor.
Talking to News18, Veer expressed gratitude for Janhvi Kapoor’s praise of his debut film, ‘Sky Force’. He shared that Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor are his first actor friends in the industry. Veer emphasised that he does not see the new generation of actors, including Khushi, as competition.
Pahariya sees the arrival of new talent in Bollywood as a good thing, not competition. He believes that working with artists who have different styles helps him grow and brings more viewers to the industry. He describes his relationship with his brother Shikhar, a horse rider and polo player, as a close friendship. Although Shikhar stays out of the public eye, Veer values their bond and often seeks his brother’s advice for personal and professional matters.
Veer is still amazed by the love he’s received after the release of ‘Sky Force’. He has been so focused on his work that he hasn’t had time to eat or sleep, but he is excited about the positive feedback. After spending over three years on the project, he reflects on how the journey has shaped him, noting that challenges and rejections have made him stronger. He values experiences over material things and shares a close bond with his brother Shikhar, who gives him advice. Veer is grateful for the support from his family, especially his grandfather, former Maharashtra CM Sushilkumar Shinde, who is very proud of his achievements.
In ‘Sky Force’, Veer Pahariya and Akshay Kumar play Indian Air Force officers, along with Nimrat Kaur, Sara Ali Khan, and Sharad Kelkar. The film is directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur, and produced by Dinesh Vijan, Amar Kaushik, and Jyoti Deshpande.
