Kailash Kher is considered one of the best singers in the industry, famous for many hit songs in films and outside of them. He has won several awards, including the Padma Shri in 2017. After judging the fourth season of the singing reality show, he has decided to stay away from judging reality shows.
The singer recently criticized reality shows during his attendance at the Jaipur Literature Festival. He remarked, “These reality shows are marketed as music reality shows, and big names like you sponsor them.”
He further added, “But they are only filmy music reality shows. Music se unka koi lena dena hai hi nahi. 2% jo bhel puri bech rahe hai in the name of film music woh usko promote karte hai.”
A few months ago, Sunidhi Chauhan‘s comments about reality shows gained significant attention. She expressed that while she initially enjoyed participating in them, she now believes everything is manipulated. Speaking on Raj Shamani’s podcast, she stated that the authenticity of these shows has been lost, as they are now heavily edited and scripted.
Kailash has sung in multiple languages, including Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Marathi, and Gujarati. Recently, he lent his voice to the Hindi version of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule,’ performing the impactful song “Kaali Mahaa Kaali.” Kher first gained widespread recognition in 2006 with his debut album, ‘Kailasa,’ featuring memorable tracks like “Teri Deewani,” “Tauba Tauba,” and “Dilruba.”.
