Shah Rukh Khan, a Bollywood superstar, is also a devoted family man. He and his wife, Gauri, welcomed their son Aryan in 1997, daughter Suhana in 2000, and youngest son AbRam in 2013 via surrogacy. Despite his fame, Shah Rukh remains a supportive and loving father.
When Shah Rukh Khan and his wife, Gauri, welcomed their third child, AbRam, through surrogacy, rumors spread that he was actually their son Aryan’s child. This false claim suggested Aryan, then 15, had fathered a child with a girl in Romania. A fake video also circulated, adding to the controversy.
SRK further shared how these baseless rumours deeply affected his family. He mentioned that even years later, Aryan, now grown up, still reacts to the controversy. Whenever someone greets him, he jokingly responds by pointing out that he never even had a European driving license at the time.
In 2021, Shah Rukh Khan and his family faced a difficult time when the Narcotics Control Bureau arrested Aryan during a cruise raid, alleging drug consumption. After 26 days in jail and multiple bail rejections, he was granted bail due to a lack of evidence. In 2022, he received a clean chit.
At the Sharjah International Book Fair, Shah Rukh Khan received the Global Icon and Cultural Narrative Award. When asked about his late parents’ thoughts on his success, he humorously said they would be most proud of how he raised his three children, Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam, considering it his biggest achievement.
