In 2021, Shah Rukh Khan and his family faced a difficult time when the Narcotics Control Bureau arrested Aryan during a cruise raid, alleging drug consumption. After 26 days in jail and multiple bail rejections, he was granted bail due to a lack of evidence. In 2022, he received a clean chit.
At the Sharjah International Book Fair, Shah Rukh Khan received the Global Icon and Cultural Narrative Award. When asked about his late parents’ thoughts on his success, he humorously said they would be most proud of how he raised his three children, Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam, considering it his biggest achievement.
