Directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra, ‘Loveyapa’ is a romantic drama featuring Junaid Khan opposite Khushi Kapoor, the younger daughter of the late actress Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor. The film’s premise revolves around an unusual situation where a girl’s father forces a prospective couple to swap their phones, leading to unexpected twists and turns in their relationship.
While ‘Loveyapa’ marks Junaid’s big-screen debut, he had previously starred in the 2024 period drama Maharaj, which premiered on Netflix India. Similarly, Khushi Kapoor made her acting debut in Zoya Akhtar’s musical ‘The Archies’. The film also features seasoned actors like Ashutosh Rana and Kiku Sharda, adding depth to the narrative.
