After a successful theatrical release, the most violent Indian flick ‘Marco’ has started streaming on OTT. Now the Telugu version of the movie is gearing up for OTT release.
The OTT platform Aha shared the Telugu OTT version update of ‘Marco’ via their Twitter handle with a note that read, “Get ready to experience the most violent and biggest film on Aha! #Marco storms in with action like never before. Streaming from Feb 21 only in Telugu, on Aha! Overseas streaming from Feb 18 !.”
Meanwhile, the makers had shared the deleted scene from the movie on the last day, featuring Riyaz Khan as a police officer. The deleted scene which showed a fight sequence at a police station where ‘Marco’ is taking it out on a group of police officers and prisoners who harassed his girlfriend, received mostly criticism from netizens. Majority of the audiences said that it was the apt decision to delete the sequence from the movie as it did not match with the story narrative flow.
‘Marco plot
Blind yet perceptive, Victor identifies his friend Wasim’s killer, Russell, by recognizing the distinct scent of his perfume and car. To silence him, Russell teams up with Wasim’s own brother, Tariq, and brutally murders Victor by dissolving him in acid.
Heartbroken, Victor’s brother Peter grieves the loss, while their fiercely protective adopted sibling, Marco, vows revenge. As Marco begins his hunt, Russell’s powerful father, Tony, orchestrates a deadly ambush on Peter. Though gravely injured, Peter survives just long enough to reveal the truth to Marco.
Fueled by rage, Marco takes down Russell’s men one by one, dismantling their operations. Sensing the threat, Tony retaliates by kidnapping Victor’s pregnant wife, Isha, using her as bait to lure Marco into a final showdown.
In a brutal climax, Marco battles against overwhelming odds, taking down Tony, Tariq, and their empire, ensuring justice for Victor and those he loved.
Reception
‘Marco received mostly positive reviews from the audiences and the Unni Mukundan starrer turned out to be a superhit.
