Palash shared that while he usually addresses issues that concern him, this time, he wanted to write about something that genuinely brought him joy. Reflecting on Akshay’s journey, he noted that he had always heard about the actor’s humble beginnings as a “I have always heard about you as a middle-class Delhi boy who made it in the film industry on his own merit and strength… That is who I am too, in the music business,” he wrote.
Drawing parallels between their paths, Palash pointed out that despite Akshay’s massive stardom, their roots were quite similar. Calling him a “middle-class Delhi boy,” he highlighted how the actor’s background resonated with his own experiences in the music world.
Palash also opened up about his struggles in the Bollywood music industry, where he often felt overlooked. However, he expressed his gratitude for Akshay’s unexpected support during their collaboration, saying, “You were giving me support no one from Bollywood has in years.” He commended the actor’s humility, professionalism, and respect, which left a strong impression on him.
Additionally, Palash praised Akshay’s impeccable comic timing, remarking that it is rare to find someone who can make people laugh so effortlessly. He added that those who bring joy to others are likely blessed by the divine.
Akshay Kumar did not hesitate to acknowledge Palash’s kind words. “Music, passion, and hard work—bas yahi chalta hai, aur yahi chalna chahiye. Thank you so much for your kind words, Palash. Mahadev brought us together, and I hope Mahakal Chalo becomes a journey for all who listen,” he wrote.
