Following the success and love attained by the first two parts, ‘Reacher’ has returned with a third season. The best part is that three new episodes from ‘Reacher’ Season 3 have already made it to the streaming giant and the schedule for the next is set as well.
The three new episodes of ‘Reacher’ Season 3 are available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video and on the same platform Thursday at 3 a.m. ET/midnight PT a new episode will be dropped.
All you need to know about ‘Reacher’ Season 3
Based on the Jack Reacher book series by Lee Child, the series stars Alan Ritchson, as the lead character. He plays a veteran military police investigator who wanders the country stopping the thugs, and the other bad guys, solving murders and conspiracies. Basically, he makes sure justice is served wherever he goes.
Now coming to the third season, it is based on Child’s novel Persuader. This installment shows how the Reacher goes undercover to probe a smuggling ring that is threatening the life of a DEA informant, according to Amazon.
“As is often the case, Reacher has a personal stake in the investigation, when he realizes someone he investigated years ago for a crime during his time in the Army, has resurfaced in connection with Beck’s operation,” says the OTT platform.
Further Frances Neagley (Maria Sten) will make a return this season as one of Reacher’s closest friends. However, fans are advised not to look for more returning cast members as the show creator Nick Santora told The Hollywood Reporter that they want to stay true to the fact that Reacher is a loner.
“The DNA of Reacher is that he moves about on his own and teams up with good people when there’s bad lurking about, and then he says goodbye to those people and goes on his way. And that’s what we’re always trying to stay true to,” he said.
Further, as we speak of the cast, season 3 has Anthony Michael Hall as Zachary Beck, Brian Tee as a former soldier who has a history with Reacher; Roberto Montesinos as veteran DEA agent Guillermo Villanueva, Sonya Cassidy as DEA agent Susan Duffy, Johnny Berchtold as Beck’s son, Daniel David Stewart as rookie DEA agent Steven Elliot; and Olivier “The Dutch Giant” Richters as Beck’s bodyguard Paulie.
