Cori Broadus, the only daughter of rap legend Snoop Dogg, has embraced motherhood. On February 28, she announced the birth of her first child, a baby girl with fiancé Wayne Deuce. However, their little one arrived much earlier than expected, born at just 25 weeks into Cori’s pregnancy.
Sharing the news on Instagram, Cori posted a heart warming image of her daughter’s tiny foot and expressed her overwhelming emotions. “The princess arrived at six months,” she wrote. “Baby girl came at 25 weeks today, and she’s perfect as ever!” While she was filled with joy, Cori also opened up about the emotional toll of giving birth prematurely. “I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself that I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed,” she admitted. “But no matter what, God always shows me that I’m His child!”
Her mother, Shante Broadus proudly reshared the announcement, celebrating the arrival of Snoop Dogg’s eighth grandchild. This milestone comes after a challenging period for Cori, who has battled lupus since childhood and recently recovered from a stroke in January 2024. Due to these health concerns, doctors closely monitored her pregnancy, classifying it as high-risk. Despite the hurdles, Cori remained optimistic all the time. Previously telling E! News in December, “God has His hands on me, and me and the baby are doing perfectly fine.”
Beyond her health struggles, Cori was excited about motherhood, eager to shower her daughter with love and confidence. Wayne Deuce, Cori’s fiancé was equally thrilled, adding that he couldn’t wait to build things for their daughter and give her all the love in the world. Wayne has also been by her side throughout her journey. Their love story has been one of deep connection and support, with Cori often sharing glimpses of their relationship on social media.
Wayne expressed his excitement about fatherhood, eagerly anticipating the moment he could finally hold his baby girl in his arms.
