Mahima Chaudhry and Tennis player Leander Paes were dating each other for a brief period but they broke up as he was cheating on her. Mahima had admitted in an interview once that she was shocked when she found out that Leander was also dating Rhea Pillai at the same time. For those not in the know, Rhea was married to Sanjay Dutt.
Leander and Mahima’s relationship ended on a bitter note in 2003. Mahima had spoken about it in an interview. Mahima said during a chat with Miss Malini. “He may be a good tennis player, but he didn’t play fair with me. It wasn’t really shocking for me when I came to know that he was going around with someone else. But his exit had no impact on my life. In fact, I became more mature as a person. I feel he did the same thing with Rhea (Pillai) as well).”
This clip resurfaced on Reddit and has gone viral on the internet. Meanwhile, Rhea and Leander were in a relationship for a few years but their relationship also ended on a bad note. Rhea had accused Leander of domestic violence. The court ruled in Rhea’s favour, demanding Paes to pay her a monthly rent of Rs. 50,000 and an additional Rs. 1 lakh as maintenance, given that she chose to move out of their shared home. Leander and Rhea also have a daughter together.
After Rhea, Leander was dating Kim Sharma. But reportedly, the duo have broken up now.
