Shatrughan Sinha is known to never mince his words and is quite vocal about things most of the times. Infact, the actor has been quite honest about everything in his biography which he published in the year 2016. In his memoir, The Shatrughan Sinha Biography, the actor had opened up on his equation with Amitabh Bachchan. He cryptically had blamed Rekha for his fight with Bachchan. In the same biography, he also spoke about his relationship with Reena Roy.
Sinha blamed Rekha indirectly for his rivalry with Bachchan. He had said, “During Kaala Patthar, a heroine who was known to be very friendly with him, would visit him. She would come during Dostana also but not once would he bring her out and introduce her to any of us. In showbiz, everybody knew who was visiting whom. The media would immediately know if Reena was in my make-up room. Such things can never be hidden in our world.”
In another interview, Sinha had spoken about his rivalry with Rekha and admitted that they had a difference of opinion due to which, did not speak for 20 years. They finally reconciled due to his wife Poonam Sinha. Shatrughan had also admitted that despite the fact that he took many digs at Rekha, she did not ever retaliate or say anything negative about him.
Meanwhile, Rekha continues to remain very close to the Sinha family now. She not only attended Sonakshi Sinha‘s wedding but was also seen at Shatrughan Sinha’s birthday party at their house.
