Shikhar Pahariya took to Instagram on International Women’s Day 2025 to honour the influential women in his life. In a heartfelt post, he expressed gratitude towards his grandmother and mother. However, what truly caught attention online was his appreciation for his rumoured girlfriend, Janhvi Kapoor, in his lengthy post. He praised her unwavering strength and fearless approach to life while wishing her on Women’s Day.
Shikhar wrote, “Some days on the calendar remind us to celebrate women. But do we truly understand what that means?” He acknowledged the role women have played in shaping his journey, describing them as his “anchors” and “guides.” Among the women he mentioned, Janhvi held a special place.

Shikhar shared a couple of pictures of Janhvi, including one featuring her father, Boney Kapoor, sister Khushi Kapoor, himself, and their pet dogs. He penned, “And from Janhvi—a woman who defies every expectation, whose fire refuses to dim—I learnt to be unshaken. In a world that constantly tries to mould women and tell them who they should be, she carries a rare determination—the kind that doesn’t break under scrutiny, doesn’t bow to pressure. She loves fiercely, dreams boldly, and proves, every single day, that resilience isn’t about surviving—it’s about thriving.”
One of the pictures features Janhvi on the sets of Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. Janhvi was visibly touched by the heartfelt post and responded in the comments section, calling Shikhar the “best son, best grandson, best friend, best ever,” followed by a heart emoji. Her brother, actor Arjun Kapoor, also dropped a clapping emoji in response to his post.
On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor is gearing up for the release of ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’, directed by Shashank Khaitan. The film will feature Varun Dhawan and Akshay Oberoi in key roles. Additionally, she will be seen in ‘Param Sundari’ alongside Sidharth Malhotra.
