Their main concern was that they saw a lot of potential in her and believed she had a promising future. They worried that the marriage might limit her growth, as they viewed her as someone with great energy and many opportunities ahead.The host humorously suggested, ‘Subdued?’ to which Kiran agreed, explaining that her parents were concerned she might be overshadowed by Aamir’s larger-than-life personality.
Kiran also acknowledged that marrying someone as successful and famous as Aamir Khan did cause her to lose part of her identity. She reflected on how it took time to reclaim her sense of self, both publicly and personally. She also expressed gratitude towards Aamir for this journey.
Kiran praised Aamir for his support and understanding throughout their relationship. She explained that their divorce was amicable because he allowed her to find her own path. She acknowledged that despite loving him and their family, she needed to pursue her own goals.
